New Delhi; 15 May, 2022: Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla has greeted the people on the eve of Buddha Purnima.

In his message, Shri Birla has said that 'Lord Buddha's sermons interpreted the true nature of the universe. His teachings, which inculcate compassion, calmness, composure and joy among us, help to maintain a sustainable balance between man and nature. His quest for knowledge, attempt to ignite minds and philosophy of guiding the humanity on the path of virtues and values shall always be relevant. On Buddha Jayanti, I pray to the Lord for a peaceful and meaningful life for all.'
