OUR NATIONAL FLAG REPRESENTS OUR UNITY AND STENGTH: LOK SABHA SPEAKER

OVERWHELMED BY ENTHUSIASM AND PATRIOTIC SPIRIT OF THE PEOPLE OF BASTI : SHRI OM BIRLA

New Delhi; 20 February, 2021: On the way to Basti to participate in the Basti Mahotsava as Chief Guest, Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla unfurled a hundred feet long National Flag at Shastri Park. The flag was unfurled as part of the Shikhar Diwas celebration in Basti. Volunteers from Scouts and Guide sang national anthem. On this occasion Shri Birla appreciated the enthusiasm of the organizers and volunteers and admired their patriotic spirit. Our National Flag represents our unity and strength, Shri Birla said.
Former Union Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh; Members of Parliament Shri Jagadambika Pal, Shri Ravi Kishan, Shri Harish Dwivedi and Shri Pankaj Chaudhury also also graced the occasion.
